Waynesville NC Maps & Directions

So, you're thinking about coming to Waynesville, NC.  Well, you're going to need some directions.  Located between the Blue Ridge Mountains and Great Smokey Mountains, it can be a little tricky when coming from the North or South.  Otherwise, you just follow I-40 to Hwy 19-23.  Here is a Waynesville NC map...

 
From Knoxville, TN
Take I-40 East, crossing the TN/NC border, about 91 miles to exit 27 (US-74/23) towards US-19 Clyde, NC. Go about 6 miles to exit 102 (US-276) towards Waynesville/Brevard. Turn right at US-276 S/Russ Ave, which is downtown Waynesville NC.

From Atlanta, GA
Take I-75 (North)/Interstate 85 (North), following I-85 N. Follow slight left at I-985 N/Lanier Pkwy (signs for Gainesville). Continue onto US-23 N, entering North Carolina. Slight right to merge onto US-23 N/US-441 N/US-64 E/Knightdale Bypass E/Sylva Rd/U.S 441 Bypass N. Continue to follow US-23 N/US-441 N. Follow slight right to merge onto US-23 N/US-74 E/Great Smoky Mountains Expy toward Waynesville/Asheville. Take exit 98 for US-23 BUS toward W Waynesville. Turn right at US-23 BUS N/Hyatt Creek Rd. Turn left at S Main St.
